I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Andermann Lab where I study how different homeostatic pressures such as hunger, temperature, and pain are integrated in the brain to drive adaptive behaviors. I previously completed my PhD in the Mooney Lab, where I studied how basal ganglia circuits in songbirds generate vocal variability. I believe science communication is as important as our research, and I am passionate about increasing STEM access for underserved communities. |
